Happy Wedding Planning

Hi all...I think I'm back, wedding planning certainly rejuvenates me. I love, want those green glass chargers, first pic to the left.

You all know Sarah Dennis...of Toasts and Tables ....she posted for daughter back in October. Love the green glass chargers shown but we can not find them. Also we are renting the china, we hated the plates that the Petroleum Club used....a yucky off white, cream??? blahh!!! . We are getting square lovely pure-white square china, not sure if a round charger will work??? What do you all think?

Then I ordered the bridesmaids Lily sandals. Had to order from In The Pink and Splash of Pink to get correct size and color. I think, I kinda added these in for me....perfect pedicure sandals...

A Quick Hello

I have tried to email a lot of you, some of the emails would not go thru. ??!! Anyway, having a down time here, hope things are better towards end of week. I've not had time to check on my favorite blog buddies...will soon...XOXO

THE DRESS

Here is daughter's Maggie Sottero Limited dress. It is in dupioni silk, has a long train, and has that beautiful corseted and tie back which seems to be one of her signature designs. The Limited collection can not be seen on the Maggie's website, guess they don't want them copied. I'll see it in 2 weeks when I go over there.

I love it. She was so lucky to find the shop: Azarue's Bridal and Formal. They had a decent selection that could all be bought off the rack. The neat thing about the corseted back is, if you lose or gain a little, the tie can be adjusted.

YIPPEEE!!!!

Daughter just bought a Maggie Sottero wedding dress. We were having a little panic attack since her Thread dress, ordered back in January, hasn't arrived. So she started looking, found a shop in Shreveport that had Maggie's, all to take home. It is the exact opposite of what she wanted, but completely what I loved on her. It is dupioni silk, beaded, & poofy and fits her perfectly from her description. She called me from the parking lot, asked what I thought...told her....go back in, buy it and bring it home. She'll get some pics of it when she gets that baby home.

DECLUTTER PART III

Here is 40 years worth of photos. These mismatched albums have been in an upper cabinet in laundry room. Luckily, they didn't get wet. So I had the brainstorm to take all the photos out and store them in photo boxes. Photo boxes take up so much less space. I found these at Organize.com. I ordered way too many, I can fit 2 albums + in one box. They can be shoe boxes, too. So maybe my closet will be next.

Then I found these at Target online. They are the same boxes made by Storage Sense that I had bought at Hobby Lobby a while back. This stack of 5 was only $49.99 so they were actually cheaper through Target. Shipping was certainly less then what gas would have cost!

TODAY'S LUNCH

I love tomatoes, especially sweet grape and campari. I was so happy to find campari tomatoes at Walmart today. I hope they keep stocking them. Campari's are perfect if you want to make something that looks pretty, tastes great, healthy, and easy. I stuffed mine with roasted walnuts, goat cheese, and little feta. Such flavors....the tomatoes are so sweet and juicy, the stuffing was so savory and tart. I've made campari's stuffed with crab meat or chicken salad.

Great for a ladies lunch or as a side with a meal.

His new Ping i10's came. He got fitted for them 2 weeks ago when the Ping rep came to our country club. I bid for them on Golf Club Exchange last week. So here is his vehicle of choice on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.... Yes, he has Fridays off...
