I love tomatoes, especially sweet grape and campari. I was so happy to find campari tomatoes at Walmart today. I hope they keep stocking them. Campari's are perfect if you want to make something that looks pretty, tastes great, healthy, and easy. I stuffed mine with roasted walnuts, goat cheese, and little feta. Such flavors....the tomatoes are so sweet and juicy, the stuffing was so savory and tart. I've made campari's stuffed with crab meat or chicken salad.

HEY PINK POPPY
You are so sweet and attentive. I love you but I don't know anything about you. Please will you make a blog site. Tell all of us about you! XOXO
UPDATE: I just got the most beautiful e-mail from PINK POPPY. She is so sweet, sincere, inspiring and fun loving. I'm thrilled. I'll email you back shortly when I reread your letter. What a dream job she has! Just knew that lobster on cashmire cable said it all. Thank you for being such nice bloggy friend. xoxo

I'm still not feeling 100%. Due to coughing all night long, I'm not getting good, restful sleep. So I'm whipped during the day, just keeping up with the daily boring chores like laundry and dishes. Try to go outside but can still feel all that yellow pollen in my nose. I'm locked inside on yet another lovely day. Here are some views outside where I wish I could be playing...

I have been down and out with a bad sinus infection due to all the pollen we have.

WISHING YOU A BLESSED EASTER
That Easter Bunny is so smart. Knows exactly what to bring me! Used a Terrida Everglades carry on (in so soft butterscotch leather) as a basket. (Now I've got to work on getting a trolley or two)
Tucked inside were Caspari Toile gift wrap papers in my favorite shades, Caspari file holder and notebook, and fun Cross-My-Heart note cards in pink Cheetah! Thank you, EB, especially since you didn't bring any candy! Hope everyone's Easter was joyous!

I KNOW IT'S SPRING BECAUSE...
the frogs are back, humping in my pond.
Not that I don't love frogs, and I certainly do my best to support Mother Nature's own ecological plan but the little buggers end up in the pond's strainer. They get sucked in by the pump. Then the strainer gets so filled up with frogs and their slimy eggs that water can't flow into the pump housing area. So I have to clean it a couple a times a day.

BATH CLOSET DONE!
I found these cheap cardboard boxes at Hobby Lobby, and the scrap booking sheets. The 12 X 9 sheets were perfect, one for each side of the box. The 2 " extra I just folded over and hot glued. The larger 12 X 12 sheet was perfect for the top. The only cutting needed was the little snip at the four corners.
I needed these taller boxes for the long containers like hair spray, mousse, pump bottles, etc. that I use every day. They are not perfect but they were cheap and went together in minutes.
Here's what my bath closet looks like now. Makes me feel good when I open the doors. There's something about black and white that gives a clean feeling but yet mixing all the patterns sure gives a design punch! I'm happy and motivated to move to bigger and worse cluttered ignored cabinets....like my photo albums of 30+ years!

DECLUTTER PART II
I've been searching all over to find more Black and Cream containers to further my Master Declutter Plan. You would think one could google "Raymond Waites storage boxes" and find tons of hits. Nope. Can't find any.
Went back to the TJMXX in Gulfport, all they had was the striped container. Went to Marshalls and found the paisley pecieces on top the middle and last stack. Went to Target...nothing. Went to Hobby Lobby and found the 3 larger floral pieces. They had tons, also had similar boxes in a black and cream toile. Had about 10 in basket, put the toile back as they were expensive. Lo and behold they were 50% off at register. I was too lazy to go back to get more after waiting for 20 minutes in line to check out. Also had the brainstorm of using paper, craft or wrapping to cover cheap boxes. Found those at Hobby Lobby. So I've got a start for now. At least I know I can go back to Hobby Lobby before Saturday when the 50% off sale ends. They had lots of other colors and fabrics. Great selection if you need boxes.

SPRING THINGS
I bought these jackets and purse when I was in Shreveport last month, put them in a closet when I got home, then forgot I had them. The jackets are all the shorter length with 3/4 sleeves. The black and white is little bit dressy, from Dillards.
This cotton yellow jacket is fun, from Dillards, got it on now with Capri's and sandals, Yes, I'm very lucky, the weather is warm enough.

TO MY TWO SONS
To my new son: Godspeed as you set off to yet another foreign and dangerous country to make us all safe. We truly appreciate what you and your comrades, brothers and sisters, in uniform are doing for all of us on a daily basis. You are not thanked enough and I ask all my readers out there in blog land.....THANK THESE YOUNG WOMEN AND MEN .... Thank my future son-in-law for his dedicated service to us and our country. It does not matter if you support the war...just tell them that you appreciate and respect what they are doing! Son, I hope your upcoming venture is quick, safe, and not depressing! Thank you, new son, we love you, be careful, and be safe! See you in 2 weeks for golf and wedding plans... Moo
To my son of 20+ years: WHERE ARE YOU? I MISS YOU!!!!! I know you went to St. Simons Island, GA for Spring Break, but it must be so cold up there! Wouldn't you rather be here in Mommy's world @ 70 degrees during the day? Can I tempt you with these lovely Vineyard Vine clothes and Charleston Twills Madras shorts? What else do I need to do to bribe you home? I promise Dad and I won't make you do any Katrina yard work!
We really need to size you for clothes for the upcoming wedding!!! PS.... your wonderful sister is to thank for the Vineyard Vines shirt, tie, and Charleston Twill's madras shorts! I can not take credit for her great taste and spending habits. She loves you too!!! Come home!!!! Love, Moo

One of my latest DECLUTTER PROJECTS
I've been working for the past 2 weeks on CLUTTER. I hate having junk spilling out of junk drawers, cabinets, and closets. Seems no matter how ofter I declutter, new stuff reappears after a month or so. You would think that with just the 2 of us, it would be easy. HA! I found some of these Raymond Waites black and cream storage boxes at TJ Maxx in Shreveport last month. I bought all that store had and was determined to find more. Yesterday we went to the Maxx here in Gulfport and found the larger paisley black and cream boxes. I bought all I could fit in one cart. I am obsessed with these boxes now. I think I'll go back for more.
Such a pretty way to hide the stuff you just have to keep but may never use...for instance, husband's collection of "Cigar Aficionado" magazines that are his bibles.

Bad Lamp Tramp
I decided to go private for some silly reasons. Once I turned my blog private, I forgot to invite my buddies. Then things just got busy, I actually forgot about the blog world for a while. Didn't mean to snub anyone, but I sure feel lucky that some people actually missed me. I promise to be better....now I've got to figure out how to invite people.
Update....seems I need people's email addresses to invite them and a lot of people don't have email addresses on thier sites. If you send me your email, I add you. I'll likely turn this private again.
